It seems every weekend there is something exciting happening in Hitchin. Last Saturday, Bucklersbury had their annual Street Party. The Humanitas Shop is on Bucklersbury and they held a number of stalls raising money for the charity. There were also buskers and live performances organised by Rhythms of the World, making plenty of noise all day on Bucklesbury and around different venues in town. The North Hertfordshire Peoples Assembly ran a teddy stall for Humanitas Charity and the people of Hitchin gave generously. The place was buzzing and the sun was shining, so proud to live amongst such a great and talented community.
The charity also have a crowd funding page for a new school to be built in Ghana. Go to the Just Giving page to donate funds.
